Description
This is a kit to convert your aircooled VW bug decklid to quick release pins. The kit comes with the two quick release pins, a quick disconnect for your license plate light wire, and a detailed two page instruction sheet. This is not a "here is a couple of pins you figure it out" kind of kit.
What is the basic concept of these pins? These pins make it so you can quickly remove your decklid to adjust your carbs etc. The stock pins are knocked out and the hinges are opened up to 1/4'' with a 1/4''drill/reamer to accept the quick release pins. This is explained in detail in the instructions.
