Compatibility :
Technically, it can work with some VW vehicle, such as Jetta V & VI ,Polo, Golf in Mark 5 & 6 ,Touran, Passat B6, CC etc. However, even for the same VW motor model produced in the different countries also has the difference. For some models, you have to extend the headunit size in order to fit RCD510. Therefore, We do not guarantee this Radios/CD/DVD changer will work/fit with your motor. Some additional effort/change may be required. Reason is each vehicle varies based on sound system, plugs,lighting and manufacture. If you are not 100% sure, please check its part/model number with your local VW specialist or Google it on the forum.
Facts:
- This is Unused, Brand-New and Genuine Original Factory headunit which is directly disassembled from totally new VW EU car.
- All functions are tested and in excellent working condition.
- Pictures are captured from the actual one.
- For some items, there might be some little scratch on the surface which is caused during disassembling and shipping process, but it doesn't affect the usage and we ensure 100% unused and functional.
- No additional accessories are included if not noted above. Plugs, Digital iPod/Aux/Audio Adapter Interface and other accessories are also available for some models at an additional cost. Message us, if you need, we can add them to the auction at an additional cost.
Known issues:
- Some Radio single range may be unable to fully cover in your country, as it uses European Frequency.
- The virtual reverse image needs to have the OPS function module support. Please check your local car dealer to evaluate if your auto supports OPS integration. For example, for Golf 6, you only need to plug in without replacing hardware to realize the virtual reverse parking. While for others, you may need to replace/install some extra parts.
- The Super Bluetooth function needs Super Bluetooth module to enable.
- There could some random compatible issue, such as some function doesn’t work. The symbol could vary based on the different vehicle model and the same model produced in the different region. Please understand we can’t test it with every motor worldwide and list all the issues here. You’d better do the research on Google or check with your local specialist/dealer. If you purchased this, we would assume you are fully aware of the compatibility issue/fitting risk/additional change work and will not use them as return excuse. If you still want return, it will be processed as a standard return that buyer does not want it and the both shipping fee and cancellation fee will be applied.

How to install it? It is standard model. It doesn’t need too much effort. If you want to upgrade your prior-2008 VW auto headunit (RCD300 or RCD500), you’d better consultant the expert to check the compatibility risk and installation effort. As far as we understand, there might exist power draining issue which can be fixed by the latest CanBus gateway.
