  Vortex 520 Quick Acceleration Kit for 2003-2004 Kawasaki Ninja ZX6RR and ZX6R (636).


Front Sprocket:

The Vortex 520 front sprocket is precision CNC machined, chromoly steel, nickel plated, and induction hardened. Vortex front sprockets have lightening holes to reduce rotating mass, which helps improve drive train performance. The sprockets are machined to a tight tolerance that does not exceed 0.1mm of runout, which is better than stock.


Rear Sprocket:

Vortex 520 rear sprocket is manufactured to close tolerances from 7075-T6 aluminum alloy, then hard anodized for wear resistance, durability, and a beautiful, high-quality finish. This sprocket is lighter than the stock steel sprocket, which results in quicker acceleration due to the reduction in rotating mass. The rear sprocket is also offered from Vortex in black but please contact us first since we do not always stock the black sprockets.


Chain:

The EK-SRX chain features lightening holes in the inside plates, Quadra X-Ring seals, and a very nice gold finish on the outer plates. The Quadra X-Ring seals are designed for reduced friction when compared to regular o-ring chains. Reduced friction and less weight means more power to the rear wheel and better acceleration.  And now FREE!!: Get a FREE RIVET LINK with your purchase!!! This quick acceleration kit has a 14-tooth Vortex front sprocket and a 40-tooth Vortex rear sprocket- that's one tooth down on the front sprocket, and stock size for the rear sprocket for a not-too-aggressive combination where you'll still be able to feel a performance increase. The 108 link chain will be shipped ready to install without cutting. If you need a tool to press your master link together please contact us, as we have those for sale as well.
