The item that I am selling in this auction is a VERY cool shirt. This shirt has a great image of a man flipping over on his (now) antique 1920's or 1930's Harley Davidson J, JD, JDH or VL model motorcycle will trying to climb the dirt hill. In this event riders competed against one another and the hill to see who could make the highest...or on occasion..who could make it over the hill. This could likely also be an Indian Scout or Excelsior hillclimber as these companies also in contention in the hillclimb battles of the time. Harley eventually came out with one of the most potent hillclimbers with the rare DAH hillclimber model..especially made for this type of event. The Class "A" was the big twins Likely a "C" 45" Class would have ran at the same event. This is from original poster that was hanging in my friend's Grandfather's garage for YEARS! This poster was for a 1930's event near Seattle, WA. The Lewis County Motorcycle Club helped to put this event on.
