The Vehicle anti-theft system (VATS) used in GM vehicles eventually fail with normal use! The Vats Bypass Module will enable a sure start every time and help avoid expensive towing costs. When the VATS system doesn't recognize your key's code it will shut down your vehicle leaving you stranded! The Vats Bypass Module is a plug in solution, it simulates your correct key code and plugs into your factory wiring harness with no modifications!. We use only genuine GM factory connectors,pins and TPA's.If you do not know your key code any GM dealer can access this code from your key or the vehicles VIN number.Most places that make replacement keys can also. If you have access to a multi meter the keys ohms can be read and used to identify the VATS key number also , so if you have that reading message us the value and we can identify it that way.

Due to the amount of vehicles the VATS system was installed in, the location of the factory wiring harness connector you plug into can vary some.
