Payment

If you just won the auction, we certainly want to know that you intended to: your kids or grandkids didn’t just mess with your computer. And while immediate payment, usually through PayPal, is our official policy, we try to accommodate folks as much as we can, and eBay will allow. We know it can take a couple of days to transfer money into your PayPal account for our bigger ticket items. We really do want to hear from you, email probably through eBay, that you are going to complete the purchase within a few days.
Also …. We know we’re lugging it a bit. We’ve moved our large extended family and …. Blah blah blah …… and haven’t been selling stuff for awhile and it seems there are several payment methods available to eBay buyers that we need to learn more about. We will. It may take a little while longer, but we’ll get it. And as soon as we figure out what works we’ll update our payment policies, OK?
       Meanwhile; thanks for your patience!

Shipping

I mentioned the move? We’re finally out of the city ….. way way way way out! About 300 riding days/year, and scenery splashed 2-lane roadways with almost no traffic …. I digress J …. .. POINT IT: it takes FOREVER to ship stuff out of here. That’s why we’ve got that 4-day handling time on the official shipping policy.
We’ll ship it as soon as we’ve verified payment. But you probably won’t believe us, as the shippers (any of them) seem to get around to moving packages to the proper depots in their own jolly time. Life in the county. J We’ll do our best. We just don’t want you disappointed.:(
If you need a part NOW, we’ve got that ‘do it fast’ option that pays for half the gas into the city so we can get your stuff on its way to you ourselves, but its kinda spendy. We want to leave the choices up to you: informed choices.

Terms of Sale

Our ‘official policies’ seem pretty self explanatory and reasonable, we think. We want all your questions. We'll get back to you ASAP, at least within a day or better. Ask lots of questions, if you have them. PLEASE. This way, you'll know what your buying or bidding on. We'll also know if we've left out something we should have explained better.
It also helps make sense of our policies: if you bought it, pay for it. Promptly. If we screwed up in any way; we WILL make it right.
If you’ve got any questions or concerns, though, please let us know.
Basically, know what you are buying/bidding on. Ask lots of questions if ANYTHING is unclear BEFORE YOU COMMIT TO THE PURCHASE.
If we’ve screwed up, we’ll make it right. And we expect prompt payment. We’ll ship it promptly, but can’t make promises for our ultra-rural shippers, OK? Repetive, yet pretty simple, ya?

About Us

You’re likely to want to know the most about Barry: he’s the true Biker, the rarest of breeds; the old kind that’s been there done that with building, customizing, chopping, iron-butting all over, machining his own parts when he can’t get what he needs. Everything we ride he’s built, or rebuilt, or chopped, or RESTORED TO STOCK. He’s been doing this for 45 years or so. You can check out our feedback. It’s kinda old since we’ve been moving and rebuilding a house instead of bikes lately, but it will tell you a few things.
Renee is the one who grabs the parts Barry gets pissed off at, rescues them BEFORE they can hit the wall they are likely to get thrown at, waits a few days, does a little cleaning and small bit of wrenching on ‘em herself and says, “Hey, sweetheart, looks like maybe this is a ‘leftover.’ Do you want me to make a few buck selling it?”
Or provides the ‘little fingers’ for the knuckle-busting spaces in all Harleys as Barry builds and hangs around looking for stuff that might make a buck or two, finds out all about it from Barry and his manuals, and then sells it. Usually here on eBay.
And, yes, it is Renee, one must pay. We’ve been married a long time and know our strengths and weaknesses well. No way would Renee build a ’69 Shovel (even though she wants one.) And no way can Barry spit out the words, “pay me now.” So we gimp through life pretty well together.
Oh yeah, we’ve both been riding about the same number of years. Barry has Renee beat on mileage by a lifetime, though.

Contact Us

It’s best to email us through eBay. That way eBay doesn’t get upset, and we still get the questions and comments forwarded to our own email ….. yes, smartphone apps work out here.
When we get to shipping, if something weird comes up, we may need to actually talk. Wow. I think eBay lets us exchange phone numbers for that if it is necessary.
