Made of super tough ABS plastic with satin black "gel coat" type finish Mounts to the headlight/visor mounting holes on any Sportster type 39MM top trees
Requires bottom mount Sportster type 5-3/4" Headlight
surface finish is similar to a fiberglass part gel coat finish
perfect as is for a daily rider
gel coat will show some surface imperfections and light scratches in places - can be run as is, but we recommend that it is painted
can also be painted to match bike color
requires some fitting and adjusting to install correctly, do not over-tighten studs set in ABS shell
Sportster headlight mounts upside down
the outer chrome headlight retaining rings will need to rotate 180 degrees
you may have to notch the rubber headlight ring to rotate your headlight bulb within the shell
Headlight mount coupling nut is 1/2" X 13 TPI
Mounting adapter to top tree bolts are 5/16" x 18 TPI
