This throttle is patterned after the old original Harley internal throttle, it's not one of the high tech, high $$ jewels out there now - this one is more like Russian space technology, straightforward and designed to be rebuildable and repairable on the side of the road. Just keep it set up correctly, adjusted and well lubed, and it will last a long time. Slides on small replaceable roller bushings.

There is no internal return spring so you may have to adjust the carb return spring for good action. Requires cutting off the end of the handlebar. Comes with a chrome distance piece to cover the cut area and bridge the gap to your lever (if you have one). The chrome distance piece may have to be enlarged slightly for some bars. Be sure to read all the installation instructions shown in the last 4 pictures.

Internal throttles take some getting used to in order to ride safely, and must be set-up carefully as there is slightly greater risk of throttle cable binding along the path to the carb , and the throttle must be correctly secured to the handlebars.

Fits 1” diameter handle bars ~ Requires .825" opening ID inside the handlebar end

Takes a 1-1/8" ID grip (same size as external throttle), the actual diameter of the throttle tube is approx 1.16"
