These Trunk Storage Boxes were produced in limited quantities and have not been available for decades. We have included a picture to show how the box tucks in behind the rear wheel well in the trunk on the driver's side.

These boxes were used to store an oil can, tool bag, rags, etc. The notch on the front was designed to hold a wheel chock.

We have reproduced this box to exacting details and have posted a picture of an original box and the "actual" box you are purchasing.

These boxes will not fit the square taillight models that were produced from 1974 through 1976. Those later models had additional structural bracing that prevented the boxes from fitting.
