SINCE IN A VW THERE IS ONLY AN OIL SLINGER THAT KEEPS THE ENGINE OIL INSIDE THE CRANK CASE BEHIND THE PULLEY.
IT'S NICE TO HAVE A LITTLE SOMETHING ELSE BETWEEN THE AIR & YOUR OIL!
