J-43074 is designed to make full contact around the entire clutch spring and
still allow easy access by the technician to the retaining ring for removal and
installation. Its three-legged design is durable and effective. Even though
specifically developed for the General Motors 5L40 and 5L50 series automatic
transmission as an essential tool, it is universal and can be used on any other
transmission with clutch packs that fit the dimensions of the tool shown below.
Used in a press or with J-23327 Clutch Spring Compressor Bridge. Internal
