This auction is for a digital BMW E36 AC Heater Climate Control for the 318i, 318ic, 323i, 323ic, 323is, 328i, 328ic, 328is, M3, and 325i, for 1996, 1997, 1998 and 1999 models.

I tested this in my own car and it works perfectly.

It has been rebuilt to be better than NEW!

BMW part number 8 378 466 AUC (also is a direct replacement for 8 362 273 AUC and 8 361 836 AUC)

This is the one for cars with three electrical connectors. The third one is for a safety feature that if it senses exhaust gas inside of your car it automatically turns the climate control on and circulates fresh air into your car. It will work in cars with 2 electrical connectors as well--just the bonus feature won't work.

The TEMPERATURE reading is in Fahrenheit (normal for US)

Removal is EXTREMELY Easy from your current car. Reach in the space below your OBC (on board computer) and insert your finger up toward the OBC and push it out. Once the OBC pops out, just reach behind the climate control and push it out. It is connected with THREE sets of wires, carefully remove each and insert the new climate control in its place. No tools required.

Also--if you send your non-functioning one to me after you install the new one--I will send $30 paypal your way (unless the screen is cracked and/or you see orange blobs on the screen when the unit is turned off).
