They're made from heavy-duty 2" x 0.120" wall tubing and powder coated with a textured black finish that will resist scratches. The outer hoop will provide additional protection against rock outcroppings and also serve as a step, with the textured finish providing slip-resistant traction for climbing in and out of your rig. This latter feature is particularly useful on lifted vehicles.
The RRC Side Armor Guards mount to the frame with the supplied hardware. The detailed instructions will guide you through the installation process, some of which involves drilling. The RRC Side Armor Guards are backed by a 5-year limited warranty.
