Volvo 850 V XC S 70 Interior Map Light w/ Lit Switches RARE

Ever fumbled to turn on the overhead light in your Volvo 850 or 1998 70 series?  That’s because the switches for the map light are not lit…For 1999 and 2000, Volvo upgraded the map light for the 70 series cars (same as on 850 models too) by adding back light to the switches, making them much easier to find in the dark.  This is the front overhead lights for 850’s and 98-00 70 series cars. 

This one is from interior color code charcoal (3970).  It is my opinion that this color will also look fine in a car with any interior color code.   You can find your interior’s code on a plate mounted to the driver’s side fender, under the hood.

  When installing this unit on a 1994-1998 850 or 70 series car, you must add power to the harness that plugs into this unit- this is very EASY to do.  I even INCLUDE a wire with the correct connector that snaps right into the plug on your car’s harness, then you need only to splice that wire to another, and run it to connect to any pink wire on your car. Pink wires switch on with the headlight switch, which is what is needed here. A note about my shipping prices: I use the USPS calculator based on weight and box dimensions. I pack everything very well and add in the cost of insurance (when applicable) as well as $0.50-$1 for my time, tape, boxes, bubble wrap, and materials, and gas getting the package to the PO.
