Volvo 240 244 245 Black Glove Box Improved late version RARE OEM

This is a black glove box from a late model 240 in very good condition. The front face is great, without any chips on the trim piece.  The upper screw hole is chipped, and a few of the others may be weak, but there are plenty strong ones to hold it very well. There is a crack in the plastic up where it latches, however, this box latches securely because it has the reinforcing metal bracket (see notes below).  There is also a very small chip on the trim piece on the front of the box (pictured) and a bit of a dirty stain inside.

This is more valuable than other 240 glove boxes because it is the improved version which was used only in ’91-’93. Other boxes fall open when the plastic wears out at the latch.  In the last 3 years of production, Volvo added the small metal bracket pictured which keeps this from happening. These boxes are much harder to find than the others.  LARGE DETAILED PICTURES ARE BELOW.

A note about my shipping prices: I use the USPS calculator based on weight and box dimensions. I pack everything very well and add in the cost of insurance (when applicable) as well as $0.50-$1 for my time, tape, boxes, bubble wrap, and materials, and gas getting the package to the PO.
