LoTek “SHORT” shocks are designed to provide better performance and handling on lowered cars. They provide racing enthusiasts more stability for aggressive maneuvers.  With the shorter piston rod and shock body, LoTek “SHORT” shocks provide more room for shock absorption on lowered vehicles.  The LoTek “SHORT” shocks use an increased damper force resulting in less body roll during cornering, more stability during breaking or acceleration while still providing a comfortable ride. These shocks do NOT work with STOCK springs.  LoTek “SHORT” shocks require spring compression during installation. Professional installation is advised.
