***$4,500 OBO!***
This is a modified LS1 Engine & 4L65E Automatic Transmission
Complete Combo setup from my 2004 Pontiac GTO. The combo has just over 82K
miles. This setup includes everything from Intake & MAF to Oil Pan
(excluding header and engine mounts; can be sold separately). It includes all the
engine wiring harness, ECU computer, accessories, etc. I had
bought the car not too long ago and decided to go with my LS7 Procharged
Supercharged route instead. I got the car the way it is with this setup and have taken it to about 7 or 8 different shops and they all tell me what they think may be in it. Some of the goodies that I'm guessing are: The more desirable LS6 Z06 243
heads (which is shown in the pictures) with titanium retainers and Comp 918 springs, LS6 or higher camshaft upgrade
(not quite sure on the cam, but sounds a bit higher than a .590" lift),
upgraded fuel injectors and fuel rails, it has a LS1 intake (not the LS6 intake that's supposed to be there; it is from a 2000 and down LS1. Intake casting number is pictured above), upgraded torque converter, and a better true dual exhaust on the combo increasing to around 450 HP & TQ and to the rear
wheels is around 380-420 (haven't taken it to dyno yet, but a couple of months ago on a
main stretch of highway, I walked from a 50 MPH roll on a Nissan 300ZX, Audi A4
S4, and a 2004 Mustang Cobra Convertible and made it to 140 MPH within a good 8
sec., but who's counting? LOL). It feels about that much because I'm comparing it to my 2001 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Ram Air WS6 Convertible that was a factory LS1 (with the LS6 intake of course) and had a Procharger P-1SC-2 pushing 7 PSI yielding around 480 FT. LB. TQ, so I know what that feels like for sure... Woohoo! The setup is still in the car so you can schedule a time and place and you are more than welcome to test drive it also.
*** If you would like, for an extra $550, I can have the car tuned for you (by the GM experts at Lamar Walden of Doraville, GA) so you can see the specs from this combo setup on a GTO platform (mine being modified a bit like the rear end gears and exhaust) and be able to make better adjustments to your project based on my results. Just let me know at the end of the auction. ***
Here is a video of the engine
combo running and let you listen to a bit of the exhaust so you will have a
better idea: 2004 Pontiac GTO Engine & Trans Combo 82K Miles Modified Ebay ID: 281179578600 (Type this into YouTube search. The video was taken when I got the car with just over 75K Miles. Now it has just over 82K Miles). You won't be disappointed in whatever you may drop this combo in.
