Do I make any adjustment after installing the carburetor? - All our carburetors are restored to the OEM specifications and final adjusted on a live running engine, you most likely do not need to re-adjust. Some like to fine tune the idle speed a little bit, that is okay, but if it runs well you don't really need to make any adjustments.

What need to be done before installation? - The most important procedure is to check the fuel system. Water, dirt and old gasoline can damage the carburetor, before installing the newly remanufactured carburetor, please make sure the fuel system is clean and only fresh gas is in the tank. Having the fuel tank and lines flushed is highly recommended, and it is also a good time to do so.

Can I send my carburetor to be rebuilt? What is the turn around time? - Yes. It usually takes 3 to 5 business days to rebuild and test your carburetor. You will receive the same high quality remanufacturing service like those we list here.

Why charge a core deposit? What if I don't have an old carburetor to send in? - The service we provide is primarily remanufacturing. If you do not provide an old carburetor, we have to buy the core from someone else. The core deposit will be refunded only if we receive your complete and rebuildable core. If you have a non-matching core, please email us for evaluation.

How do I select the shipping and handling option that includes the core deposit amount? - On the Check Out screen, click on "Other..." under the Shipping & Handling column, and then check the "Other..." shipping option. You must choose this option if a core deposit is required. (See Core Policy). This Shipping and Handling charge consists of the regular shipping cost and the core deposit amount. You may also wait for us to email you an invoice after purchasing the item.
