It requires an XM unit in order to have XM stereo. The knobs are in perfect condition.All of the lettering is clean and sharp and white.The faceplate is perfect.Radio needs to be programmed by a dealer in order to work in your vehicle. It also has the capability to hook up a remote 6 cd changer. If you are unsure if this will work for you please contact a dealer before you purchase to verify this stereo will work in your vehicle.
