Consider yourself warned. We have seen endless people getting burned by other shops offering "too good to be true" prices. If there's one thing you should know about the JDM market, is that every engine is different. Here are a few pointers that will help you with your future purchase.

Only purchase if you see photos of the actual engine
If a vendor is too lazy to show you photos of the exact engine before you buy it, there's a reason... it's probably garbage!

Beware of really low prices
Every engine is different in terms of condition, mileage and cleanliness. Why would they sell a perfectly good engine for less?

Missing warranty information
Vendors will often leave out warranty information and only state "30 day warranty". They will jerk you around until the time is up and then ignore you. It's an ongoing trend these days.

Ask for proof of engine compression
You can tell alot by doing a compression test. If they can't show you these numbers, there's probably atleast 1 shot cylinder and you know what that means... garbage!

Excessive spelling mistakes on auction and website
This is usually a dead give away. It's normal to have a few typos here and there, but when every other word is mispelled that should be a reflection of their business ethics. If they can't get their own stuff right, how much do you think they care about the customer?

Once you receive your item, please do not sign the release papers from the transport company until you have properly inspected the goods and made sure nothing is damaged by the shipping company. If there is any noticeable sign of damage on the product, please note it down on the waybill before signing it at the bottom. Contact us for an RMA (Return Material Authorization) #. Returns without a RMA # will not be accepted.
Return the product to us with the original packaging and a copy of the original receipt to the address given to you by the customer service representative. We'll usually give you the address to the warehouse nearest you.
Any returns arriving to our warehouse without a RA number will be refused. Also, include the invoice with your returned package.
There is a 30 days start-up warranty on this motor. This warranty will cover that no problems will occur if the engine is installed in the vehicle properly by a certified mechanic. In the event that a part of the engine block or head is found to be defective, this part will be replaced.
Our warranty covers all internal engine parts. Engine block, cylinder barrels and cylinder head are also warranted to be free of cracks or distortion.
The customer is responsible for all the freight charges on the return of defective items and no replacement part will be sent until our staff have inspected and verified the the returned defective item in question. . The customer is responsible for all the shipping charges for the returned product. You must have a RA number or Return Authorization number from JDM Online before you can return your product. Please have the RA number written on the outside of the package.
We are not responsible for any labour work. Our warranty is ONLY on the motor block and head.
Warranty is VOID if engine is blown or seized due to customer negligence - (i.e, racing, running vehicle without motor oil, high revving, etc)
