This hand held, hand crank siren is perfect for signalling, sporting events, pep rallies, car shows, air shows, or sound effects use. It needs no outside power source, so it can be used for signalling during hurricanes, toronados, or any other time that power is out.

It produces 110db (measured at 3'), and the tone measures 550hz +/- 20hz.

The crank handle folds for portability. Very heavily made from solid cast steel. Unit weighs 2 pound, 10 oz. Measures 8" high. Sound unit is 4-1/2" wide, and whole unit is 5" deep.

You see some of these sold on Ebay as genuine WW2 hand crank sirens. Usually with the breathless comment that it was purchased from the estate of an old soldier. They're wrong. These are still made today, and the units are brand new.
