RETURN POLICY: when returns are accepted
Item will have my initials on it & clear tape over it to protect it from being rubbed off. If this item is NOT as described, or doesn’t work as described in the ad, it may be returned at your expense as long as my initials and label are still intact. I will then inspect it to make sure it is as sent. You must ship the item back to me USPO Insured or UPS Insured. Upon receipt of the return, I will issue a credit for the amount of the bid price only, shipping and handling charges are NOT refundable. If on the other hand, the item arrives broken, you are responsible for returning it to the POST OFFICE or UPS office to have a claim made. I will issue a refund or a replacement once I have the claim form in my hands and not before. I must be notified within 48 hours of receipt of intent to return or that the item is damaged.
In addition, I do not offer refunds-returns on clothing. Please remember that you are bidding on previously worn, pre-owned clothing and that everyone’s opinion is different! SAFETY NOTES:
Do
not use the Extender in a fashion for which it was not intended. You
use this Extender at your own risk. Please read these safety notes
thoroughly and abide by every one; if any issue exists/persists, cease

Extenders are only for use with retractable seat belts. Do not use
unless physically required to wear the vehicle’s safety belt.

Never use when lap strap will not adjust snugly on hips. An Extender is
not designed to give you “slack” in your seat belt. It must be used in a
way that the seat belt is still taught.

Make sure your Extender’s latch clicks each time you buckle it. If you
think it did not latch, unbuckle and re-click the Extender. If this
happens several times, depress the button of the extender to ensure that
the latch is available for reception and try again.
• Before each use of the Extender, make sure that metal tongues unbuckle easily from receptacles.
•
Always test the Extender by buckling it in and tugging sharply on the
seat belt shoulder strap to ensure that it still “locks up” with quick
movements. Tug sharply everywhere to ensure that the Extender is locked
in and the proper fit for your vehicle.
•
Do not force the metal tongue of the Extender or your car’s belt into
the receptacle of the other. Only buckle if both sides fit smoothly.
• Do not modify the Extender.
•
If the stitching on the webbing is/seems loose or frayed (other than
the ends of tied knots) or the integrity of the Extender is/seems
compromised in any way, stop using the Extender immediately.
•
Make sure you maintain access to your car’s seat belt buckle at all
times in case you need to access it in an emergency. If a seat belt or
Extender release button does not function properly, stop using the
Extender immediately.
•
Never use when intersection of lap and upper torso straps (measured
along the lap strap) is less than 6 inches from an imaginary center line
of occupant’s body.
•
If you are pregnant, do not place the receptacle of the extender over
your stomach. Ensure that it is well to the side of your body.
•
In almost all cases, when the Extender’s metal tongue is buckled into
the car’s seat belt’s receptacle, the alarm mechanism that warns you to
buckle up will be considered engaged. That means it will not ding while
the Extender is buckled.
