The Akrapovic slip-on exhaust systems are designed for riders who want to upgrade the looks and performance of their bikes at an affordable price, without making a major modification. The change will also be visual as the Hexagonal mufflers perfectly fit the exterior lines of the Honda and add a clean racing image. System is not homologated and is developed only for race track use.

Measurements of the Akrapovic SLIP-ON open system on the Honda CBR600RR (without muffler insert):

Power and Torque: The slip-on exhaust system offers a performance increase throughout the entire rpm range. It delivers a massive 112.1 HP at 14,160 rpm on back wheel. But the increased power isn't available just at the top of the range; the system shows its quality already from 5,000 rpm up through entire rpm range. Max. increased power between the Akrapovic and the stock system is 3 HP at 13,630 rpm. Besides this, the torque is substantially higher in a lower rpm area at 4,800 rpm and from middle to high rpm area.

Please be mindful, these measurements were taken on Akrapovic's in-house SuperFlow dyno using a motor with fuel delivery modifications. You can expect greater power output increases with a proper fuel mapping done by a competent dyno technician for your particular machine!
