The finish is machined on the face of the spokes with a silver painted background and all clear coated. The finish on these is amazing in person.
The lip is stainless steel and looks every bit like chrome however it wont rust, pit, or peel like chrome can.
(please excuse the blue shrink wrap in the pictures but it only comes off once and I was not going to permanently remove it since it protects it for shipping)
Best example of the finish on the spokes is that it resembles the back of A CD/DVD.
