- the year, make, model (& sub-model if applicable). If we do not receive the vehicle information to program the unit, we will have to refund payment and cancel the auction. There is not a "universal version" that we can send if the vehicle info is missing, the unit must be calibrated for ONE specific vehicle otherwise it will not operate at all.
This is stated so many times throughout the auction (& we apologize for the repetition) because regardless of how many times and how many different colors of text are used, there is always a purchase with no vehicle info that comes through... somehow. ?* A common question we receive is that if you decide to switch your HHO System to a different vehicle later on, is it possible to have this unit recalibrated for the new vehicle? - Absolutely. We will reprogram as many times as you want (within reason - of course) all that is required is to pay shipping cost to send us the unit, and we will calibrate for any available vehicle you want, at no cost.

This chip has been specifically designed for the needs of HHO generator equipped vehicles. The unit is dynamic - which means it will consider oxygen levels in the exhaust, along with engine speed and load, intake air temperature and volume, and many other variables to determine the most efficient fuel delivery rate and timing at up to 256 separate load points.

When using HHO as a fuel supplement, this EFIE will adjust fuel delivery and timing to optimize efficiency.

When HHO is disabled, it will automatically re-adjust and switch to highly efficient, non-HHO enhanced maps.

This is a vehicle specific, custom programmed 20MHz Microcontroller. It utilizes its high speed serial input/output to communicate directly with the ECU through the OBD-II port.

Compatible with factory equipped Turbo/Superchargers, diesel engines, Flex-Fuel, & HHO supplement systems. It is NOT compatible with hybrid engine options, propane, or natural-gas.

Is this the right one for my engine? (SEE BELOW FOR EXACT VEHICLES) - The EFIE has room for up to 8 performance maps, which we use to cover different engine options for a particular vehicle. For example, the 1999 Ford Mustang Chip will be compatible with both the 3.8L V6 and the 4.6L V8. The EFIE will read the first few bytes of data from your ECU during calibration to determine which map to use.

If the unit is not programmed for a specific vehicle, then it will not function. Without a calibration installed - the E.F.I.E. is no more than a nice-looking "paperweight". Obviously, we cannnot ship the units like this, so any orders that do not include a note with the vehicle info will be delayed and cannot ship until we receive this information. Please include a message during PayPal's checkout, where is asks for "Order Notes", or during Ebay's checkout with the vehicle's Year, Make, Model, (and sub-model* if applicable) so that the E.F.I.E. can be programmed, and the order is not delayed. *If a vehicle has a sub-model designation - this would be listed after the model - for example: Honda Accord EX (Honda would be the manufacturer, Accord would be the model, and EX would be the sub-model.) This is important for us to know, since it can make the difference between a correct and an incorrect calibration in some cases.
