Access to the inside of fuel tanks can be accomplished through fuel fill orifices, fuel level/gauge sending units or fuel tank inspection plates. Insert the rigid PVC tubing into the fuel tank until it makes contact with the bottom of the fuel tank. Initiate pump to begin pump-out. View water and other fuel tank contaminants through the clear plastic tubing. Stop pump out when clean diesel fuel appears. Discard tank bottoms in a method compliant with state and federal environmental regulations.
