The K-Line Industries' AT3386:

This ammeter set is used for testing the output of charging systems and checking current flow in D.C. electrical circuits. The dual range meter (0-50, 0-300 amps) requires no direct connection. Simply hold the induction meter on the wire to be checked to determine the amperage flowing through the wire. Ideal for checking the current draw of an electrical starter motor. The in-line meter is used for testing the low output charging systems (0.5, 1.25, & 3 amp).
