This is a Bestop "Supertop" that fits most jeep wranglers from 1997-2006. This works with factory full doors with roll up windows. If you have half doors I don't know what else you will need to use this, unless you just want the upper space open. You may need to purchase door uppers and frames. Check with Bestop before you buy.
The top is in very good clean condition without any rips or tears. All zippers work nicely. Side windows and back window have some scratches and smudges in the plastic. You can see through them perfectly, but they are not crystal clear.
This includes the frame hardware you see in the photo. The jeep side rail frame lines up with existing factory bolt holes for the hardtop. No bolts are included. You are buying: The soft top, left and right side windows and the rear window and frame that mounts to the jeep bed with cross bars and arm door frame header assemblies. (for factory full doors)
There are some parts missing so you cannot use this unless you already have these parts or intend to purchase them: No window header channel is included. No header brackets/ mounts for the driver side and passenger side door frame bar. and there is no rear tailgate piece that allows you to attach the rear window to the jeep tailgate.
Let me say this again, to use this top you will need: 1. The windshield header channel ($35-50 on Ebay) for the Bestop Supertop. 2. The small brackets that bolt behind the passenger and driver side roll bar to hold the door frame bar ("$"), and 3, The rear tailgate bar that allows you to secure the rear window panel to the tailgate ( $25-40).
These parts are all available from Bestop or on Ebay from other sellers.
This will not work if you are trying to replace a factory softop as the door frame hardware and fit are quite different. This is for those who have a factory hardtop with full doors or no top at all and no doors.
The top has seen minimal use as it has been stored my my garage for a few years. There is one small freyed area on the right corner tab of the rear window fabric. See photos.
Assembly instructions for Bestop supertops 97-06 are readily available on Utube or at the Bestop website. Check out the photos that include pictures of how the top goes on. Very simple to install. It took me about 10 minutes without any instructions.
I bought this to use in place of my factory hard top in the summer, but we soon realized that all we need is a safari top. Don't need a full soft top. So here is your chance.
