Here is a REAL DEAL old school BRIGHT RED Metal Flake Steering Wheel! These are AWESOME and you almost NEVER see them in any condition these days! (they make some cheesy reproductions but they are NOT the same)
This one has approx a 14 3/4" outer diameter! It has a chrome center with 3 holes on each spoke. I believe this was made by a company called Superior and is the "500" model steering wheel but has a cool "RIDE GUIDE" center cap! (I have never seen that before) It is embossed in the center and looks cool! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the color! It looks AWESOME and runs deep!
These fit most any car but are usually found in vintage Street Rod, Hot Rod, Rat Rod, 1955-1957 Chevy, Ford Deuce Coupe, Dune Buggy VW Bug, or most any vehicle you can imagine! I was at a local car cruise just LAST FALL and saw a couple of these in some of the vintage cars. THEY LOOK SO COOL and you NEVER see them for sale anywhere these days! I hope you appreciate and enjoy this one for years!
Please note, It shows age and is not perfect show quality! The chrome is shiney but not perfect show quality. It had surface rust but cleaned up fairly well. It still has surface rust under the cener cap. The outer red part of the wheel does have some darker spots too but nothing overly serious. (see pics) A VERY cool item! In fact, they make some new reporductions of this but it is VERY OBVIOUS that they are reproductions. They simply dont have "the look" like these cool originals do! IF YOU EVER think you could use this, DO NOT miss out! These do not come along often!
