D&D Carbon Fiber Mufflers and Mid Pipes for Custom Applications on Sportbikes
The Product: A new D&D carbon fiber exhaust system for custom applications on sportbikes.
Research: We received this D&D exhaust through a buyout and all of the information we have on it is listed here. This exhaust was labeled as being for the Yamaha R1; however a customer returned it stating it did not fit their R1. We then sent pictures of the mufflers and midpipes to D&D which stated they believe this was mislabeled or mispackaged. D&D stated they believe the mufflers are for Ducati motorcycles and the midpipes appear to be for a ZX9 Twin Stinger. Since this exhaust was mislabeled and D&D stated the components are for different motorcycles we have measured the mufflers and midpipes to help you determine if these components will fit your application. The mufflers measured 20" long and the cans are 16" long and about 4-1/2" in diameter. The inlet has and OD of 2-1/8" and an ID of 2". The midpipe with the carbon fiber piece on it measured 17-1/2" long and the other one measured 15-1/4" long. The midpipes have a 1-7/8" OD and a 1-3/4" ID on the end by the clamp and the other end has an 1-11/16" OD and a 1-5/8" ID. Please keep in mind these measurements were taken with a tape measure therefore they may be slightly inaccurate. Please look over the pictures closely, compare the measurement provided to your motorcycle and review our return policy noted below prior to purchasing this exhaust.
Layout of Pictures: The first picture shows everything included in this listing. The second picture shows the midpipes and the third picture shows one of the mufflers. In the fourth picture you can see a close up of the D&D badge on the mufflers and the fifth picture shows some light rust on one of the welds on the muffler.
Condition: This D&D exhaust has never been used on a running bike; however we stated above it was returned to us since it was mislabeled and did not fit the customer's motorcycle. There are some light rub marks and scratches on this as well as some light rust as shown in the fifth picture. Overall these midpipes and mufflers are in very good shape. Please look over the pictures closely and review our return policy noted below prior to purchasing this exhaust.
