Guarantee and Returns

 

This part includes a parts warranty for 6 months from the date of delivery. This warranty covers the main component of the part only. Coverage of labor cost for installation, removal, re-programming, etc. is not provided under any circumstance. All parts have tamper-proof markings which if damaged void the warranty.

 

 All parts must be properly installed and maintained according to factory specifications. The warranty is non-transferable (between vehicles or owners). We must be informed immediately of any discovered defect. Failure to do so shall void warranty. At our discretion, we may require that an independent repair facility of our choice verify such defects. We are not responsible for any transportation cost incurred due to a failed part. Any improper use such as, but not limited to racing, neglect, mishandling of said part shall void the warranty. Parts installed on any Commercial Vehicle are not covered.  Improper installation, repair or modification of said part shall void this warranty. Any existing problems with the vehicle in which the parts are intended that would cause damage to the recycled part shall void the warranty. Failure to follow all instructions on the included installation tag will void the warranty. You, the purchaser, are obligated to establish compliance with any and all conditions set forth for any and all warranty claims. Warranty does not cover any claims of personal injury, economic losses, inconveniences, transportation, towing and any consequential damages.

 

If the main component of the part purchased fails to operate normally after proper installation within the warranty period, please contact us promptly. We will promptly send a functionally equivalent replacement part whenever possible. When a replacement is not available, we will provide a full refund. The original defective part must be returned to us (we will provide a return shipping label) either way. The refund will be processed only after we have received it.

 

Our Engine and Transmission Warranty covers internal parts only, which include: Pistons, Rings, Push Rods, Rocker Arms, Lifters, Rocker Arm Shafts, Crankshafts & Bearings, Rods, Camshafts & Bearings, Valves & Guides, Oil Pump, and Engine Block & Cylinder Head. Blocks and Cylinder Heads have tamper-proof heat tabs installed. The warranty is void if the center of a heat tab is melted out, as this indicates over-heating. Engines: Proof of oil changes within manufacturer's recommendation for normal use is required. Automatic Transmissions: Proof of replacing the fluid, filter (when applicable),seals and gaskets, as well as flushing the radiator and cooling lines prior to installation is required, or the warranty is void. The warranty is limited to the amount of the original purchase price of the part. Manual Transmissions, Transfer Cases, Differentials: Proof of replacing the fluid, gaskets and seals is required, or the warranty is void.

 

If you need to return a part, please contact us for instructions. Original shipping costs are never refunded for any reason besides a major error in the listing (not including incorrect color or fitment of included pieces besides the main component). The refund will be less the original shipping cost, and you are responsible for the return shipping costs through the carrier of your choice. Incorrectly ordered or not needed parts are subject to a 20% restocking fee. If the item included free shipping, the refund will be less the actual shipping & handling cost that we incurred to deliver the part to you, our valued customer. We will provide that amount with the return instructions.

This item will be shipped promptly.  If you require expedited shipping (Next Day, 2nd Day,etc.), please contact us with the eBay item number. We do not ship internationally. Tracking information is sent automatically after the shipment has been processed. Please allow ample time for delivery before contacting us. This item will be carefully packaged to help ensure successful delivery. If a package arrives with obvious damage, please refuse delivery or notify the carrier before opening to inspect the contents, and contact us promptly if the part arrives damaged. All items sold for greater than $200 and all items shipped via freight carrier will be sent Signature Required. This means that you, or an agent, must be present at the time of delivery to provide a signature for delivery of the package to occur (the carrier will not leave it at the address unattended).

The item(s) purchased can be picked up at our facility. Please contact us promptly after purchase to prevent it from being shipped. Any shipping charges paid  (excluding items with Free Shipping) will be refunded.

 

For large parts that require truck freight shipping (i.e. Engines, Automatic Transmissions, etc.): YOU MUST PROVIDE A BUSINESS/INDUSTRIAL (COMMERCIAL) ADDRESS FOR THESE TYPES OF PURCHASES. WE DO NOT SHIP LARGE FREIGHT ITEMS TO RESIDENTIAL ADDRESSES. Note that most manual transmissions ship via UPS Ground, and can be delivered to a residential address. We offer 2 levels of freight shipping. Economy is gauranteed within 10 business days (Monday-Friday, non-holiday). Standard Service is guaranteed within 5 business days. As a guideline: Using Economy service, freight items shipped within New England will arrive within 2 days,  East of the Mississippi River within 3-5 days, West of the Rocky Mountains 5-9 days.  This item will be palletized/crated and shipped via a freight carrier with insurance in a tractor trailer or box truck that is operated by an independent shipping company. The part will be secured to a standard sized pallet with metal banding and will be heavy (150-750 pounds). The truck will not go off pavement to unload. Also, if you do not have the ability to unload the pallet from the back of a tractor trailer/big rig with a forklift, outside loading dock, another truck, etc., we can arrange for the freight company to drop the pallet to ground level with a liftgate, at no additional cost to you! A valid phone number is required to process the shipment, so please verify your Paypal contact information is accurate. We will contact you at this number before processing your order to verify all information.  We are not responsible for any delay in delivery by the freight company. If there is obvious damage to the part, do not sign for it, as this releases all liability onto you and we cannot make an insurance claim. If there are option codes listed (i.e. GT6, LM7, AEB, etc.) for part compatibility, please reference your Production Codes/RPO/Service Parts Identification label(s) located in the vehicle or contact your local dealership. If an option states "from (or thru) VIN#, this refers to the last (aka sequential) digits of your vehicle's VIN #. If an option states,for example 8th digit  "A" or "2", this is referring to the 8th digit (from the left) of your vehicle's VIN #, which must match. ABBREVIATIONS & DESCRIPTIONS

 

Parts Grading: A standard code system is used to communicate the condition and quality of a part between automotive recyclers, automotive repair shops, and insurers. Knowing how these codes are used will help you understand whether the part meets your expectations before you buy it and what you can expect from the part when you receive it.

 

 

A Grade          The highest quality part. It is of low miles and/or exceptional condition for its age.

B Grade          The second level quality part. It is of average miles and normal and/or condition for its age.

C Grade          The third level quality part. It has high miles and/or light damage and/or for parts/repair only.

No Grade        A part that has not yet been graded.

 

All used parts may have some small shallow surface scratches, minor wear, or fading from normal use. The metal components may have some minor rust or corrosion from normal use. All parts are tested to ensure they are fully functional before removing them from the donor vehicle.

 

Part Category: A category is a way of classifying a part in inventory. (The category appears as a one-letter abbreviation under Part Detail). A category is a way to identify a part by location or condition.

All parts are guaranteed to fit and operate as specified by the OEM. We do our best to accurately show the part color in the photographs, so please examine & compare them carefully. Some parts have the actual OEM paint or trim code of the part listed in the Notes line. Paint & trim colors on parts (i.e. side view mirrors, switches, etc.) can vary slightly due to differences in paint tint lots and how the previous owner cared for the vehicle.  Therefore, exact color match to your vehicle is not guaranteed. Orientation (United States production based): The LH or Lt.(Left) side is the driver's side of the vehicle (referenced while sitting in the Driver's Seat), and the RH or Rt.(Right) is the passenger's side of the vehicle. When viewing tail lights: QTR MTD (Quarter Panel Mounted) or OUTER means the outermost taillight. LID MTD (Deck Lid/Trunk Mounted) or INNER means the innermost taillight. UPR (Upper), LWR (Lower), W/ (with/), W/O (without/), Excl. (excluding). Incl. (Including).

 

Parts may include accessories, covers, brackets, nuts, screws, bolts, trim pieces, foam insulation, wiring harnesses, pigtails, etc., as shown in the photographs. These pieces other than the main component are not guaranteed to fit your application, and are only included as a courtesy. For example, engines are sold as long blocks only (block & cylinder head(s) with all internal components). They do not include the starter, alternator, a/c compressor, power steering pump, ECU, distributor, coil, or throttle body.  Transmissions are sold as the gear box & torque convertor only, and the bell housing or tail shaft may require replacement from your current part.  Some modern electronic parts (computer modules, speedometers, radios, switches etc.) must be taken to your local dealership to be re-programmed or "flashed" to your vehicle as part of the installation process.
