Your factory exhaust system was designed with more attention paid to meeting noise regulations than performance. To gain that performance you need a less restrictive muffler and large diameter mandrel bent tubing, which is just what you get with this Rugged Ridge exhaust system. This a cat-back system, so you won't to worry about being emissions legal, and it delivers an increase in exhaust flow that translates into more power, with a deep, throaty exhaust note.
The system starts with a high flow aluminized steel muffler. All the muffler seams are fully welded, with reinforced inlet and outlet. The muffler's internal construction allows increased exhaust flow while delivering a powerful, throaty exhaust note, which sounds great outside but is unobtrusive inside the cabin. To further reduce restriction and improve exhaust flow, the exhaust tubing is mandrel bent. Mandrel bending ensures smooth bends and makes sure the pipe maintains its size and shape throughout the entire length. Tubes that aren't mandrel bent can lose a percentage of their diameter in sharp bends, creating restriction.
This exhaust system kit is constructed from durable, long lasting aluminized steel. It comes with stainless steel hardware, and features a stylized exhaust tip.
