Unlike fiberglass and even ABS plastic, urethane can take an impact that severely distorts the part and have the part return to its original shape. And when painted with a flexible paint, urethane can withstand moderate flexing without damaging the paint. To facilitate painting, Xenon does not use silicone mold release. Instead they use a wax-based mold release film, so less time will be needed to prep the parts for painting.
