The best place to mount lights on the front of your car or truck is just above the front bumper. This steel tube mount attaches to any flat space on the front bumper with the attached hardware. Requires drilling two 7/16 holes in the bumper 26" apart to anchor the Universal Mount Light Bar. The mount is supplied with two plates to go behind the bumper to reinforce the mounting bolts.

Using this mount will put your lights where they need to be and keep them from moving around. It’s important that auxiliary lights be mounted properly. A shaky mount will not only not keep the light beam aimed properly, excess vibration will shorten the life of the bulb. Generally, there isn’t enough room to mount a decent-sized light directly to the bumper, and not all bumpers are shaped to allow the lights to mount in the correct location.
