the only timing tool you will need to insure your engine is timed
perfectly. It is used to synchronize the camshaft sensor to the no.1

Tool no. 6472 works on; 1995-97 3.0L V-6 Winstar, Aerostar and
Ranger/ 1996-97 3.0L 2-valve V6 Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable/ 1996-98
4.0L V6 Aerostar, Ranger and Explorer. This is the same as Ford part no.
303-529 (T95T-12200-A)
Tool no.6473 works on; 1998-2001 3.0L V-6 Ford Taurus, Mercury Sable, Ranger pickup and Windstar van. This is the same as Ford part no. 303-589.
