Spark Plug Wire Set by Omix-Ada®. Spark plug wires are continually exposed to excessive heat, which over time can cause them to crack and otherwise deteriorate. They can build up excessive internal resistance to the point where the required voltage is not reaching the spark plug, or is crossfiring or grounding through the wire's insulation. The result is hard starting, rough idle and misfiring. If testing proves that the ignition wires on your Jeep are faulty, Omix-Ada has the correct replacements that will restore ignition system operation and vehicle performance.

Spark plug wires can be checked for resistance using an ohmmeter, but they are more accurately checked on an engine analyzer or scope, where their performance under load can be seen. Wires with excessive resistance will have an abnormally high firing line. Properly functioning spark plug wires are critical to vehicle performance.
