While I can only Guarantee compatibility with the 2002 740il, this Unit in part or in whole will fit other E39 and E38 Body style BMWs built from 2000 through 2003 including the 750il 525i 530i  and 540i. But  you must due your due diligence, compare part numbers, and make sure that this Unit satisfies your needs. There are no returns if you purchase the wrong item. The Screen is in great condition.This Unit was tested in a totaled but otherwise immaculate car and  the Screen lit up properly.
