DON'T HAVE YOUR "KEYCODE"? ...
If you are the original owner of the vehicle
your key code is all we need. When placing your order simply
list the "key code" of your vehicle in the 'Notes' section
when you checkout in PayPal. If you are
not the original owner, unless you have used the key code previously the key
code you have may not be applicable (locks are often changed with ownership for
security) and we cannot guarantee fit if the code is not correct.

The "picture" instruction is the best alternative, when our
directions followed specifically and there are no shadows on the blade.

This will guarantee a perfect fit if there is any doubt. Using the
"key code" or photo you provide we will custom cut both your new
Shell/Key using the latest computerized laser cutting equipment.
1) Picture Instructions…Take a good clear
digital picture of your existing key blade using most any “smart”
telephone or digital camera. Simply lay the blade flat as possible to
eliminate any shadows (placing a few coins under the blade tip assures no
shadows), and positioning the head
of the key on your left and blade tip to your right. Now take two or three
pictures from directly above the keyblade ... angle shots do not
work. Email the pictures to us, IF YOU CANNOT LOCATE OUR
EMAIL LOOK FOR OUR REQUEST FOR YOUR PHOTO IN YOUR PERSONAL EMAIL ACCOUNT AS YOU
GAVE TO PayPal. Once received we will visually decode the existing cuts
and determine your "keycode" at no extra charge. . We will send
you your key code with your shipped order.
2) Check your Owners manual for the small metal "key" tag or the black Emergency Key holder may have it imprinted into it... CAUTION!! IF THE VEHICLE IS PURCHASED USED THEY CODE MAY NO LONGER APPLY, DUE TO POSSIBLE LOCK CHANGES FOR SECURITY PURPOSES..

Go to your local Lexus dealer's Parts Department. Show them both your
proof of ownership and Vehicle Identification Number and they
will look up your custom "key code" in their computer data base...CAUTION!! IF THE VEHICLE IS PURCHASED USED THEY CODE MAY NO LONGER APPLY, DUE TO POSSIBLE LOCK CHANGES FOR SECURITY PURPOSES.

The passenger door lock has the "keycode" stamped on it. If there is
no passenger door lock, then try the drivers door lock - it will have
it. You have to remove the door lock from the car to see it.
+ The number 48020 found on the tire sticker is NOT your keycode. +
EASY TO INSTALL...
Shell/Key Replacement Take the Remote "POD" out your existing Lexus key by unscrewing the
single screw in the back of the key. Insert the "POD" into your new
shell / blade by again removing the small screw, remove the back side of
your new shell/blade and insert your existing "POD". The shell/keys we
send will not have any electronics in them. THE SHELL/KEY WILL NOT START YOUR VEHICLE WITHOUT YOU TRANSFERRING YOUR EXISTING REMOTE "POD". THE INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED WITH YOUR ORDER ARE VERY PRECISE PLEASE READ THEM BEFORE ATTEMPTING TRANSFER
Lexus Battery Replacement
1) Unscrew the two screws found on the rear of the 3 button pod
2) Gently open the 3 button pod
3) DO NOT PRY BATTERY UP & OUT as you might damage the contact under the battery, you must slightly LIFT THEN TWIST the battery out.
4) Install the battery with lettering facing you. Install pod cover, and screws. |
