The below information will help ensure a successful compressor replacement. It will guide you when finding a qualified A/C technician. Today's A/C systems are complex and proper training is required. Failure to follow the below Warranty Requirements and Installation Guidelines will void your warranty. Accumulator or Drier - Your vehicle is equipped with an accumulator or drier. It must be replaced when replacing the compressor. Parallel Flow Condenser - Your vehicle is equipped with a parallel flow condenser. This type of condenser is impossible to properly flush and must be replaced. Expansion Valve - Your vehicle is equipped with an expansion valve. If you had a major compressor failure the valve should be replaced. Total System Flush - When the compressor fails, sludge, debris, and possibly metal shavings may be present in the system. Failure to flush the system will introduce the debris into your new parts and cause repeat compressor failure. The complete system must be flushed with an A/C flush solvent when replacing the compressor. Aerosol or flushing with air alone is not an acceptable method. The above warranty requirements are mandatory for your warranty to be valid. Direct 2 U warrants its new compressors to be free from manufacturing defects for a period of one year from date of purchase provided that the compressors are used in non-commercial vehicles and installed by a professional according to our warranty requirements and installation guidelines. A copy of the installation invoice must be provided for any warranty consideration. Direct 2 U does not reimburse for nor accept claims for labor, freight, oil or refrigerant. Direct 2 U liability for any defective product or alleged defective product is limited to replacement of that product or refund at Direct 2 U choice. |
| Shipping We offer multiple shipping locations for your convenience. Your products will ship via UPS Ground from the warehouse closest to you if available for fastest delivery. If the products are not in stock at the warehouse closest to you they will ship from our main warehouse in Pennsylvania or direct from the manufacturer. Free ground shipping is only offered to the continental US. Shipments to AK, HI, PR, and all US territories will have fixed price shipping charges stated in the listings.

Return Policy Prior authorization and shipping instructions must be obtained from and product must be returned to Direct 2 U freight prepaid. If you need to return a part, please contact us for an RMA#. We will not accept returns without an authorized RMA#. The actual shipping cost will be deducted from parts returned from listings with free shipping if the part qualifies for return. |
