Offered are Motor's Crash Book Illustrations for the 1960 Chevrolet, including the Biscayne, Bel Air and Impala. Photos associated with this listing show the first of 7 pages that you will receive (four sheets of paper printed front and back).

Motor's Crash Book Illustrations are prized by car collectors and restorers for their exploded views, ghost views and easy identification of body parts and mouldings. They are meant to be used to check that your vehicle has all the manufactured mouldings or to help with simple assembly tasks or minor repairs and are not meant to replace use of a manual for more detailed tasks.

Areas covered include identification, where to find identifying numbers on your vehicle; wheel alignment and steering geometry; front view; exterior views; mouldings for the Nomad, Impala 2-door hard top, Impala 4-door hard top, Impala 4-door sedan; body panels for the 4-door station wagon body phantom view and the 4-door hard top phantom view; 4-door hard top exploded view; grille and front bumper exploded; front end sheet metal; rear bumper and a frame diagram and dimensions.

Taken from the introduction to Motor's  Crash Book Illustrations is this paragraph: "The illustrations contained in this manual ... portray assemblies and components as the automobile manufacturers portray them and serve a useful purpose in acquainting one with the relationship of each component with another. Because of limitations, the details of each component cannot always be portrayed. Therefore, all components are not always illustrated and occasionally, it is necessary to illustrate what is typical, rather than exact in detail."

These pages are actual pages from a real body shop's subscription manual, used in the day for repairs to vehicles after crash damages.

These pages are in good condition, showing few signs of use. There is some slight discoloration along page edges.

Your pages will come in an archival-safe, acid-free sheet protector. They will ship in a rigid cardboard Stay-Flat Mailer.
