New GM TV (throttle valve) cable for carbureted engines with a 700R4 transmission, factory installed 1984-1987 Camaro/Firebird.  Some people refer to this as a kick-down cable.  This is the cable that controls the shifting of the transmission.  A worn or stretched cable causes late shifting.  For swap purposes, this cable can be used with 700R4 and 4L60 transmissions when using a factory style OE Rochester carburetor (or equivalent).  Fits the following, as a direct replacement :
