Came with my new Sonata They wore evenly , but They were down to the wear bars at 30,000 miles. Junk tires.

These tires came stock on the vehicle. Started outok. Winters with them are terrible, worst tires for winter I have ever used. Dry performance is great, wet performance is a mixed bag. Only lasted less than 40k miles. Already down to wear bars. Also very puncture prone, had to have them patched 3 times already.

I'm fairly new to the car scene, and I haven't had much experience with different tires and what to expect. At around 7k miles, I hit a major pothole and discovered that one of my tires would have tobe replaced. I wasn't sure whether to replace two or all four tires, and if I would stay with these stock ones. After reading these reviews, I decided to getfour new ones, and went with another brand.

It was only after going to the new ones did I realize how poorly these stock Kumhos perform. I babied the car in wet, snow, and ice, so I'm not the best source for how they perform in these conditions. I can say that they just don't perform that well in dry conditions. During regular highway useage, I found them rough and noisy. In the city, they'd lose traction so easily whenever I needed a short burst of speed. I alsodid two autocrosses on these Kumhos (and one on the new tires), and they weren't great for that, either. I felt like I could never get the car even close to its potential, because I was sliding all over the course. Each run was 60 seconds of tire squeal.

I can't comment on the life of these tires, as I've gotten rid of them before they'd lost all their tread, but the tires were looking pretty beat up from two autocrosses and "spirited" driving.

All in all, I won't be going back to these tires, especially when better tires cost just a bitmore. If you're doing mainly highway driving (and not pushing them to the limit), they're good enough.
