Terryville Auto Parts offers a standard 6 month warranty on all mechanical parts. This covers the part only. "NO LABOR PAID". We offer extended warranties on engine, transmissions and differentials only. Please read extended warranty information below.


Transmission Warranty

ALL TRANSMISSIONS AND TRANSFER CASES MUST BE INSTALLED BY AN "ASE" CERTIFIED TRANSMISSION SHOP. NEW FILTER, FLUIDS AND SEALS MUST BE INSTALLED. ALL FLUID COOLERS AND LINES MUST BE FLUSHED, SHIFT/DETENT CABLE OR LINKAGE ASSEMBLIES MUST BE ADJUSTED COMPUTERS REFLASHED. TORQUE CONVERTER MUST BE PROPERLY INSTALLED. CUSTOMER MUST OBTAIN INVOICES FOR ALL PARTS.

Engine Warranty

ENGINES ARE CONSIDERED TO CONSIST OF SHORT BLOCK ASSEMBLY AND CYLINDER HEAD. ANY SEALS, GASKETS, FLUIDS, WATER PUMP AND TIMING BELTS MUST BE REPLACED TO ENSURE WARRANTY. COOLING SYSTEM MUST BE FLUSHED. OVERHEATED, ALTERED OR IMPROPPERLY INSTALLED PARTS VOID WARRANTY. CHANGE INDUCTION & ELETRICAL SYSTEMS(HARNESS) AS NEEDED.

TERRYVILLE AUTO PARTS, A LEADER IN THE USED AUTO PARTS INDUSTRY, IS NOW OFFERING A 1 YEAR PARTS AND LABOR WARRANTY AT A ADDITIONAL COST. THIS EXTENDED WARRANTY COVERS THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER FOR A 1 YEAR PERIOD AGAINST PRODUCT FAILURE FOR PARTS AND LABOR COSTS CAPPED AT THE MITCHELL FLAT RATE GUIDE OF $55.00 PER HOUR. ALL LABOR MUST BE PERFORMED BY A LICENSED REPAIR FACILITY. THIS WARRANTY IS VOID IF PART IS IMPROPERLY INSTALLED, DISMANTLED, OVERHEATED, OR USED IN A COMMERCIAL APPLICATION. WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO INTERNAL PARTS ONLY; GASKETS, SEALS, TIMING COMPONENTS OR EXTERNAL PARTS ARE NOT COVERED. ALL CLAIMS MUST BE AUTHORIZED BY TERRYVILLE AUTO PARTS PRIOR TO ANY REPAIR.ANY DEFECTIVE PART MUST BE MADE AVAILABLE TO TERRYVILLE AUTO PARTS FOR INSPECTION PRIOR TO ANY CLAIM BEING PAID. THE ORIGINAL INVOICE IS REQUIRED FOR ALL WARRANTY CLAIMS


In the event a part sold with a warranty fails to operate within the warranty period we will replace the part(s) with a functionally equivalent part or refund the part purchase price, at our option. No refund on deposits or unwanted special order parts or special "cut" items.

To return an item you must contact us via ebay messaging within the 30 day period to obtain a RMA number (return material authorization).

Original shipping charges and return shipping charges are not refunded. A 15% restocking fee will charged on all returns.

Once you obtain an RMA number, ship the item back to Terryville Auto Parts, 35 Fall Mountain Rd., Terryville, CT 06786 along with the RMA number.

Shipping is available for the United States only. Our default shipping rates are for the 48 US states only via FEDEX ground. No out of the country shipping is available.


We usually ship within 1-2 business days of receiving cleared payment. Unless otherwise noted, Buyer pays shipping

Freight Items
We will not ship freight items and some larger or fragile parts outside of the 48 US states. For large items that must be shipped via Freight Truck (i.e. engines, transmissions), the delivery site must be a commercially zoned address capable of unloading a freight truck.

We can also arrange for you to pick up your freight item at your local freight terminal. For an accurate residential freight quote, please contact us before your purchase. If for some reason our shipping cost is greatly over this estimate, we reserve the right to ask for additional funds or an alternate ship to address.

Shipping Deadlines
We will process every order within 24 orders of checkout. Our business hours are from 8-5 M-F EST. Orders placed after 2:00 pm EST cannot be guaranteed shipping that day. All Non-Freight items will be sent via UPS ground unless given instruction otherwise. If you need 2nd day air or Next day air service please call us directly for best results. You may also add this service during checkout but we can only guarantee shipment of these orders if it is placed before 2:00 EST. All freight items will go out the same day if the order is placed before 12:00 noon EST. This is providing that we have adequate payment, shipping instructions and phone numbers to process the shipment.

By law, we charge sales tax for items shipped to these states: CT (6.35%). Tax applies to the subtotal plus any shipping and handling for these states only.
Help
Core Charge. Core is an acronym for ‘Cash On Return’. A core charge is sometimes applied to rebuildable parts such as engines or alternators that can be redeemed for a portion of their original price. If the part you are purchasing has a core charge applied, it will be noted in the description.

Parts Grading. A standard code system is used to communicate the condition and quality of a part between automotive recyclers, automotive repair shops, and insurers. Knowing how these codes are used will help you understand whether the part meets your expectations before you buy it and what you can expect from the part when you receive it.

A Grade - The highest quality part. It is of low miles and/or exceptional condition for its age.
B Grade - The second level quality part. It is of average miles and normal condition for its age.
C Grade - The third level quality part. It has high miles and/or light damage.
No Grade  - A part that has not yet been graded.


Part Category. A category is a way of classifying a part in inventory. The category appears as a one-letter abbreviation under Part Detail. A category is a way to identify a part by location or condition, and helps to indicate whether a part needs to be pulled and prepped before shipping.
