Tuning box is a digital device that allows diesel powered vehicles to unleash their hidden power as much as 30% hp and torque.
Tuning or remap doesn’t empower the engine, yet it unleashes the unused power, the same way a human needs to use his wit and brain in order to use the full potential of his body and brain. Usually athletes and regular people have the same bodies, yet one of them completely utilises his body and brain, while the other one uses only a single piece of his body. In order to use the full potential, one must have the psychology and wisdom in advance, the same way the engine needs a better “brain” control to unleash its potential. In this case the chip tuning comes in. The tuning box comes in contact with the electronic control unit, which improve many signal value, causing the engine to work more efficiently.
HOW TO IT WORKS
Todays diesel engines have many sensors which are controlled by the vehicles ECU these signals are processed many thousands of times in one second to maintain that the vehicle is running at its optimum efficiency and keeping the emissions and economy at acceptable levels.
The idea behind the tuning box is to intercept the signal between the ECU and the injection system usally the common rail and basically allows it to inject more fuel into the cylinders thus producing more torque and power, and because of this the engine is running more efficiently the fuel consumption is also improved because you would have to use less throttle for similar conditions.

Only suitable for new generation common rail fuel injection systems. These are fitted to the majority of diesel engine from 1999/2000. Usually your car's model designation will tell you if it is common rail. Tdci, Dci, CDT, CDTi, CRDi, CDi, I-CDTi and ETC. the C usually means it has common rail engine
