We ENCOURAGE all prospective buyers to do the research on just exactly what is involved with the restoration of these vintage carburetors. An informed buyer is the best buyer. Call up your local dealer or get with your local expert and get a price for the restoration of your carburetors (if offered). You most likely will find that they don’t handle this type of service for 2 reasons: The costs are too high/profit margin too low or they simply don’t have any experienced personnel in this field. It’s just not in their best interest, financially, to offer this service. They can make more money with less experienced labor working on the newer fuel injected models. If you do the research you will find that it’s a LOT more than chunkin’ them whole in some vat of carb cleaner and blowing them off. Even with the ultrasonic cleaning, which we employ, complete disassembly is required to insure proper cleaning. Please, DO THE RESEARCH, and after you have, I know you will see not only that our prices are competitive; the standard of workmanship is second to none. I am a Master Tool&Die Maker with 41 years of experience in all aspects of tooling and over 34 years rebuilding carbs. Precision is my business.

This listing is for the complete restoration of YOUR existing 1971-1980 Yamaha XS 650 XS400,GS Twins, Kawasaki KZ TWIN Carburetors. Other years,makes,and models are also available but are not included in this listing..more to restoring them...contact me for details.The carbs shown in the pictures are of previous customer builds. YOUR carbs will be rebuilt to order. Allow 3-4 weeks for completion AFTER receipt of your Carburetors!!
Carbs must be complete and rebuildable. All parts not present, torn diaphragms, broken/seized jet needles and extractions will incur additional charges. All hard parts not within service specs will be replaced at customers cost. All rubber o-rings, gaskets, float valve seats and needles will be replaced. Carbs will be completely torn down to individual components. All internals and bodies will be hand and ultrasonically cleaned. Bodies, bowls, etc. will be cleaned and sealed. All hardware replaced with stainless steel screws All bores polished. Leak tested and synchronized
THERE WILL BE A $70.00 Bench fee due if the carbs are not rebuildable as received and the customer will be required to pay for return shipping within 5 caleder days or the cores will be forfeited.
Due to the fact that we can no longer offer shipping insurance as an option, all carbs will be insured and the cost will be reflected in the shipping and handling charges.
