The auction is for a complete protection kit for the above bike model, it includes front axle sliders, frame sliders, rear axle sliders, clutch sliders and rear swing arm spools. The sliders feature a new design of a complete solid puck without a hollowed-out center. This increases the strength and contact surface to about 30%. The bracket is bolted to the engine mount and the slider puck is bolted onto it. The right side bracket is designed to wrap around the frame preventing it from rotating in the event of a low side. For the left side the frame slider is mounted directly into the frame. The material of the puck is made of UHMW-PE (ultra high molecular weight polyethylene), a tough plastic with good strength, wear resistance and dimensional stability. It is more dimensionally stable than Nylon and used in many industrial ball bearing and friction reducing applications. Compared to Delrin, it is softer but tougher. Delrin is harder but more brittle. It is an ideal material for frame sliders since it can absorb more impact force onto itself and therefore reduce the impact on the frame and engine. The slider pucks can be inexpensively replaced in case of a low-side. For the front and rear axle sliders the installation is a simple bolt on with the bar going through the axle and one plastic puck on each side. We use highest grade commercially available 12.9(177,000 psi in tensile strength) wherever possible. Rest assured that you are getting the best material commercially available.

Frame sliders seem to be simple bolt-on accessory to many people. To us however, they are only a working progress. We constantly try improve the sliders in both material and design. Our latest slider design accumulated from many years of listening to our riders experiencing low-sides on the track and the street.

Figure 1 and Figure 2: show our latest improvement slider with aluminum base is stronger and more resistant to bending than all-all plastic sliders. The small plastic puck can be replaced inexpensively.

Figure 3: show the result of the slider bracket that can rotate. Many sliders can keep the bike off the ground but the pull on the sliders when the bike slide causes the brackets to rotate therefore pressing the slider puck onto the plastic. The latest sliders feature no-rotation
