Installation is easy. Simply tap into any 12 volt source such as door light wires, parking light or headlight wires, dome light wires, trunk light wires, etc. Connect the red to positive and the black wire to negative. LEDs strips are polar sensitive so if it does not light up, simply reverse the wires and reconnect. If you connect the wires backwards it will not harm the LED strip or your vehicle.
