This is an OLD, bell shaped Head Light, Lamp Lite, or could be a work lamp with lots of patina. I'm not sure which make or model of car this is from, possibly an early Chevy 1916-1922. I believe it was mounted on fork headlight mounts. According to a reliable source, this style was used between the Brass era and the Drum shape era of headlights. Measures 6-1/2" deep (from lens to tip of bell) x 10-1/2" across, the exposed area of the lens measures 8-1/8" across and is marked "pat. June 19, 1917" "Primolite lens Barry Co. Limited, Chicage, Ill. USA, "10P" is at top of lens & Size 8-5/8" near the bottom of lens. I see no other markings on the Head light. There are two side mounts approx. 3" back from outside lens casing and one mount centered between the two approx. 4" from outside casing. It is in vintage condition with rust & a surface crack in the lens about 1/4" long near the center. Im not sure of the voltage either, it might be a 6Volt negative ground, not sure. This is a great nostalgic piece I just wish I was sure of the car it belonged to.
