This item is a brand new high quality aftermarket catalytic converter with gaskets.  It will fit the folowing makes and models:

• 2006-2010 Subaru Forester 2.5L Non-Turbo
• 2006-2011 Subaru Impreza 2.5L Non-Turbo
• 2006-2009 Subaru Legacy 2.5L Non-Turbo
• 2006-2010 Subaru Outback 2.5L Non-Turbo
• Please look at your converter before ordering and make sure this is the correct one

Kit Includes:

• 1x Part# CC1992HL Catalytic Converter
• 1x Part# 31383 Gasket

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE MUST READ

For all of the makes and models listed above there was a recall done on this vehicle. 

Before installing the new converter you must have the dealer reprogram ECM to improve A/F sensor and emission performance

Program WVU-31 is the recall number your dealer is required to do this. 

ECM software update to improve emissions when the car is operated in cold weather and the engine turned off and restarted within short periods of time. The A/F (air flow, O2) sensor contains a heating element which is controlled by the ECM, which assists the sensor in reaching optimum temperature.
There could be a longer than desired delay turning on the A/F heating element resulting in higher emissions.
Owners will be notified by mail through August as the update is available. Program WVU-31

If you do not comply to the above procedure the warranty on this converter will be null and void

• For Cars Located in California you must install a CARB-compliant Catalytic Converter

New York

• For model years 1993, 1994, or 1996 and newer, aftermarket replacement converters for California Emissions Certified vehicles licensed in the state of New York must, by law, be CARB-compliant. It is, however, still legal to use EPA-compliant converters in these two circumstances: 
  1. Vehicle model year 1995, or vehicle models older than 1993; and 
  2. Federal / EPA Only Emissions Certified vehicles, regardless of model year.

NOTE: Before buying any Converter you must be aware that Converters are designed to last the life of a car or suv / truck. If your converter needs to be replaced it is due to an emissions error/problem in your engine tuning. This must be corrected before you or your installer install this converter.
