The new Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Convertible (pictured) gets 650 bhp The American are found of telling us there’s no substitute for cubic inches, but throw in a supercharger to the equation and numbers become even more appealing, and more linear than a turbo too. Dany Bahar was finally ousted from Lotus after the new owners of Lotus managed to remove the flamboyant former Ferrari man from his role at Lotus and ditch his fantasy plans to turn Lotus in to a cross between Aston Martin and Ferrari.

Tesla Model X Crossover reveal and Roadster dropped by year end

Tesla Roadster Production ends in December We revealed back in November that Tesla intends using the Model S platform to produce a Crossover come SUV to appeal to a more mainstream market than their current ‘Lotus with batteries’ Tesla Roadster. Having officially sown that seed, Tesla has now revealed that the Tesla Model X will be revealed – in prototype form, of course – by the end of 2011. At pretty much the same time as production of the Tesla Roadster comes to an end.
